Scope
This International Standard specifies methods for measuring the power [energy] density distribution and defines parameters for characterizing the spatial properties of laser power [energy] density distribution functions in a given plane. The test methods described in this International Standard are intended for testing and characterizing the beams of continuous wave lasers as well as pulsed lasers in optics and optical elements.
