Scope

This standard specifies the method for determining the content of chlorinated hydrocarbons in altered stationery by gas chromatography. These chlorinated hydrocarbons include: dichloromethane, 1,1-dichloroethane, 1,2-dichloroethane, chloroform, 1,1,1-trichloroethane, 1,1,2-trichloroethane Ethyl chloride, carbon tetrachloride, trichloroethylene, and other types of chlorinated hydrocarbons. This standard is applicable to various alteration stationery (correction fluid, correction pen, correction tape) and raw materials for alteration stationery.
