Scope
This part specifies the construction method and basic structure of the open numerical control system software platform for mechanical and electrical equipment, provides a reference framework for the analysis, design and implementation of the open numerical control system software platform, and meets the open and interoperable requirements of the numerical control system for mechanical and electrical equipment. This part applies to open numerical control systems used in electrical equipment such as metal processing machinery, textile machinery, printing machinery, sewing machinery, plastic and rubber machinery, and woodworking machinery. Open CNC systems for other industrial machinery and equipment can also be implemented as a reference.
