Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for the temporary storage of low and medium level radioactive solid waste. This standard applies to any practice that generates radioactive solid waste and meets the temporary storage of low and medium level radioactive solid waste (hereinafter referred to as "waste temporary storage"). This provision does not apply to the storage management of tailings slag radioactive solid waste.
