- This standard specifies the test methods for the mechanical properties and weather resistance of PVC plastic windows (hereinafter referred to as plastic windows). This standard applies to the determination of the mechanical properties and weather resistance of the whole plastic window assembled from rigid polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plastic profiles. The joint between the window and the wall is not involved.
