- This standard stipulates the required sanitary protection distance between the calcium magnesium phosphate fertilizer plant and the residential area. This standard applies to new calcium magnesium phosphate fertilizer plants and their expansion and reconstruction projects located in plain and hilly areas. Existing calcium magnesium phosphate fertilizer plants can be implemented as a reference. The health protection distance of calcium magnesium phosphate fertilizer plants located in complex terrain conditions should be determined jointly by the competent department of the construction unit and the competent department of health and environmental protection of the province, city, and autonomous region where the construction project is located according to the air environment quality evaluation report.
