- This standard specifies the rapid thermal aging test method for electrical insulation impregnating paints and varnished cloths with soft paint films. This standard is applicable to the rapid thermal aging test of electrical insulation impregnating paint and varnished cloth with soft paint film. The heat resistance is expressed by temperature index (t) and thermal life line equation. This standard cannot replace conventional thermal aging test methods.
