Scope

This standard specifies the method principle, analysis steps and result calculation for the determination of total alkalinity of seawater by open potentiometric titration. This standard is applicable to the determination of total alkalinity in ocean seawater, coastal seawater, estuary seawater, etc. The measurement range is (1 700 ~ 2 700) μmol/kg.
