Scope

This standard specifies the method principle, operating steps and result calculation for the determination of total dissolved inorganic carbon in seawater using the non-dispersive infrared absorption method. This standard is applicable to the determination of total dissolved inorganic carbon content in ocean seawater, coastal seawater, estuary seawater, etc. The measurement range is 1 650 μmol/kg~2 350 μmol/kg.
