This standard specifies the method for the determination of ethylene oxide residues in disposable sanitary products that have been disinfected with ethylene oxide. This standard is applicable to the determination of ethylene oxide residues in disposable sanitary products such as sanitary napkins, sanitary pads, diapers, and disinfected cotton that have been disinfected by ethylene oxide. The detection limit for the determination of ethylene oxide residue in this standard is 3 μg/g, and the quantification limit is 10 μg/g.
