Scope: This general rule is applicable to the collection of samples for inspection of batches of bulk fluorspar (i.e. fluorspar), bauxite, talc, manganese ore, iron ore, chromium ore, moisture, particle size and other physical items. Mineral products such as: barite, magnesia, feldspar, clay, gypsum, limestone, dolomite, magnesite, etc. can also be implemented by reference. This general rule should be used as a guiding document when formulating a manual sampling method standard for a specific bulk mineral product.
