Scope: This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, labeling, packaging, transportation, storage and shelf life of the feed additive magnesium sulfate monohydrate or magnesium sulfate heptahydrate. This standard is applicable to the feed additive magnesium sulfate monohydrate or magnesium sulfate heptahydrate produced by sulfuric acid chemical synthesis method or salt lake bittern method. Molecular formula: MgSO₄. nH₂O, n=1 or n=7. Relative molecular mass: 138.38 (n = 1), 246.47 (n = 7) (according to the international relative atomic mass in 2007).
