Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, items, and methods for testing, calculating and evaluating membrane devices for seawater desalination reverse osmosis membrane devices. This standard is applicable to the first-stage reverse osmosis seawater desalination device using seawater as the influent, the water production scale is not less than 100 m³/d, and energy recovery technology is adopted. The test and evaluation of other scales and types of seawater desalination reverse osmosis membrane devices can be used as a reference.
