Scope

This part of GB/T 5754 specifies the determination method for the elongation of the core steel wire rope of the steel cord conveyor belt. During the measurement, the steel wire rope is subjected to tensions corresponding to 10% and 60% of the specified value of the tensile strength. This section applies only to steel cord conveyor belts.
