Scope

This part of GB/T 18216 specifies the requirements for insulation monitoring devices (IMD). The insulation monitoring device continuously monitors the insulation resistance to ground of the ungrounded AC IT system and the ungrounded DC IT system. The nominal voltage is below 1500 V DC, regardless of the method of measurement.
