Scope: This standard applies to the field determination of the spray deposition amount of the ground sprayer for trees and shrubs. This standard covers the determination of the volume and mass (both absolute quantity and distribution) of the amount of spray deposited on targets such as leaves and fruits and lost on the ground. This standard does not involve the determination of spray drift. However, when this standard is used in combination with the field measurement method for spray drift given in GB/T 24681, good evaluation results of spray mass balance in trees and shrubs can be obtained when measuring aerial drift. The standard determination procedure stipulated in this standard facilitates the flexible arrangement of field tests and facilitates the comparison of the results of different field tests or laboratory tests (such as using vertical distribution test devices).
