Scope
This standard specifies the performance test methods for flame photometric detectors used in gas chromatography. This standard applies to a flame photometric detector (FPD), which is a system consisting of a hydrogen-air flame burner, an optical filter for selecting the wavelength of light emitted by the flame, and a photomultiplier tube for detecting the intensity of the emitted light.
