Scope

This standard specifies the measurement methods and measurement tolerances for the geometric dimensions of precious metal jewelry and its parts. This standard applies to the measurement of geometric dimensions of precious metal ornaments (except jewelry and jade) and their parts. The measurement of geometric dimensions of precious metal products and their parts can be used as a reference.
