This standard specifies the terms and definitions of friction welding machines, product types and basic parameters, environmental conditions, technical requirements, inspection methods, and inspection rules. This standard applies to continuous drive friction welding machines, inertial friction welding machines, radial friction welding machines, vibration friction welding machines and friction welding machines that combine the above types (hereinafter referred to as welding machines). Certain special requirements for friction welding machines imposed by special conditions of use can be stipulated in enterprise standards or special technical conditions through negotiation between the user and the manufacturer on the basis of this standard.
