This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, technical requirements, energy consumption, statistical scope, statistical methods and calculation methods for lead-acid battery unit product energy consumption (hereinafter referred to as energy consumption) limits. This standard is applicable to the calculation and assessment of energy consumption of enterprises that produce lead-acid battery products (hereinafter referred to as products) using lead, lead alloys and sulfuric acid as the main raw materials, as well as the energy consumption control of new projects. The product can be a lead-acid battery (hereinafter referred to as a battery), a lead-acid battery raw plate (hereinafter referred to as a raw plate) or a lead-acid battery plate (hereinafter referred to as a plate).
