This standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of the electromagnetic actuator of the fuel supply pump of the electronically controlled common rail injection system of a diesel engine. This standard applies to the electromagnetic actuator of the fuel supply pump (hereinafter referred to as the electromagnet) of the electronically controlled common rail injection system of a diesel engine.
