- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, design and manufacturing requirements, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements, usage conditions, document requirements, type testing, inspection, packaging and storage of machine tool electrical control cabinets (hereinafter referred to as electrical cabinets). This standard applies to the empty shell of machine tool electrical control cabinets that do not contain electrical components and devices.
