Scope: This standard stipulates the allowable value of energy efficiency, energy-saving evaluation value, energy efficiency level, test method and inspection rules of projectors. This standard applies to liquid crystal display (LCD) and digital optical processing (DLP) projectors with projection as the main function and high-pressure mercury lamp or metal halide lamp as the light source. Solid-state light source projectors and projectors using liquid crystal on silicon (LCOS) as display devices can be referred to for implementation. This standard does not apply to integrated projection units composed of projection screens and projectors and professional projectors used for theater projections.
