- This standard specifies the performance test methods for vibrating gyroscopes (hereinafter referred to as gyroscopes) used in angular displacement test systems and angular rate test systems. This standard is applicable to the performance test of piezoelectric gyroscopes, silicon micromechanical gyroscopes, quartz micromechanical gyroscopes and hemispherical resonant gyroscopes and other vibrating gyroscopes used on various carriers in land, sea, air and aerospace fields.
