Scope

This specification specifies the general requirements for the design, manufacture, quality assurance, and delivery preparation of celestial navigation equipment. This specification is applicable to various types of ship-borne and submarine-borne astronomical navigation equipment equipped with the Navy. Other types of celestial navigation equipment can also be implemented by reference.
