- This standard specifies the basic principles, operating methods and requirements for measuring and manufacturing 1:5 000 and 1:10 000 military digital maps using commercially transmitted satellite image data with a pixel ground resolution better than 1 meter. This standard applies to the production of surveying and mapping products such as digital elevation models, orthophoto maps, digital topographic maps, and corresponding scale thematic maps in overseas and domestic difficult areas using aerospace photogrammetry methods.
