- This specification specifies the requirements for aluminum nitride (AlN) based silicon carbide (SiC) composite microwave electron attenuating materials. This specification applies to AlN-based composite microwave electronic attenuation materials (hereinafter referred to as attenuation materials) that use SiC as the attenuation phase for distributed attenuation in the frequency range of 5GHz to 10GHz in high-power coupled cavity traveling wave tubes.
