Scope

This standard specifies a liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry/mass spectrometry method for the determination of the residual amounts of protodinacetic acid shellfish toxins (AZA1, AZA2, AZA3) in exported shellfish. This standard is applicable to the quantitative determination and confirmation of the residual amounts of proto-polydinose shellfish toxins (AZA1, AZA2, AZA3) in shellfish such as scallops, oysters and variegated clams.
