This standard specifies the method for the determination of neodymium, dysprosium, praseodymium, lanthanum, cobalt, boron and aluminum in NdFeB permanent magnet materials using inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-AES). This standard is applicable to the determination of neodymium, dysprosium, praseodymium, lanthanum, cobalt, boron and aluminum elements in imported and exported NdFeB permanent magnet materials. The detection limits are shown in Table 1.
