This International Standard specifies the properties of flanged hexagonal weld nuts with metric standard threads from M5 to M16 or metric fine threads with nominal thread diameter D from 8 mm to 16 mm in product class A. Weld nuts according to this standard are suitable for screwing with screws of strength classes up to and including 10.9 according to ISO 898-1.
