- Scope
- This International Standard specifies the general principles to be observed in the ultrasonic testing of industrial products to the extent that ultrasound can propagate in these articles. The special conditions of application and implementation of ultrasonic tests, which depend on the type of test object, are described in documents such as: specifications; guidelines; Regulate; contractual agreements; written test instructions. Unless otherwise specified in the standards cited, the minimum requirements of this International Standard apply. This standard does not cover: test scope and scan plan; Eligibility criteria.
