EN ISO 15589-2:2014 Petroleum@ petrochemical and natural gas industries - Cathodic protection of pipeline transportation systems - Part 2: Offshore pipelines
This part of ISO 15589 specifies requirements and contains recommendations for pre-installation investigations, design, materials, equipment, fabrication, installation, commissioning, operation, inspection and maintenance of the Cathodic Protection (CP) system for offshore pipelines the petroleum and natural gas industry, as specified in ISO 13623. This part of ISO 15589 applies to carbon steel, stainless steel and flexible piping in offshore operations. This part of ISO 15589 applies to retrofits, modifications and repairs to existing piping systems. This part of ISO 15589 applies to all types of seawater and seabed environments found underwater and on risers up to the mean water level.
