- Scope
- This International Standard specifies the tolerance limits for bottles intended for use with pharmaceutical products, cosmetic and perfumery products and chemical products. The following limit deviations are treated: Limit deviations of the brim full volume; Limit deviations in height; Limit deviations in diameter and width; Axis deviations. The following bottle types are exempt from this International Standard: "Miniature Bottles"; small bottles for extracts, essences, etc.; small jars (e.g. for individual portions of jam).
