EN ISO 2692:2014 Geometrical product specifications (GPS) - Geometrical tolerancing - Maximum material requirement (MMR)@ least material requirement (LMR) and reciprocity requirement (RPR)
This International Standard specifies the maximum material condition, the minimum material condition and the reciprocity condition. These requirements can only be applied to size dimension elements. These requirements are used to control certain functions of workpieces where there is a dependency on size and geometry, e.g. B. to fulfill the functions "Attendability of parts" (for the maximum material condition) or "Minimum wall thickness" (for the minimum material condition). However, the maximum material condition and the minimum material condition are also used to meet other functional design requirements. Taking into account this interdependence of size and geometry, the independence principle set out in ISO 8015 does not apply when the maximum material condition, the minimum material condition or the reciprocity condition are applied.
