- This standard specifies the technical requirements for the design, construction, acceptance, operation and maintenance of seawater flue gas desulfurization projects in thermal power plants. This standard is applicable to seawater flue gas desulfurization projects in coastal thermal power plants with a unit capacity of 300 MW and above. Thermal power units below 300 MW may refer to this standard when using seawater flue gas desulfurization. The sea area where it is located should have good ocean diffusion conditions.
