- This standard specifies the classification, technical requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, storage and transportation requirements for copper-clad polytetrafluoroethylene fiberglass cloth laminates (hereinafter referred to as copper-clad laminates) for microwave circuits. This standard applies to E-glass fiber cloth impregnated with PTFE emulsion, dried and sintered PTFE prepreg, and copper-clad laminates made by hot pressing of single- or double-sided copper clad foil. Uncoated laminates may also be used as reference.
