Scope

This standard specifies the product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation and storage of explosion-proof slotted screwdrivers. This standard applies to explosion-proof slotted screwdrivers (hereinafter referred to as "screwdrivers") used in flammable and explosive places. This standard does not apply to slotted screwdrivers for live work.
