- This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of electrophotographic photoconductor surface defect comparison plates (hereinafter referred to as defective plates). This standard is applicable to the detection of surface defects of photoconductors used in electrostatic copying (printing, fax, multi-function) equipment and the corresponding imprint defects on the printed matter.
