Scope

This standard specifies the technical conditions, inspection methods, inspection rules, marking and packaging of composite mandrel winding testing machines for overhead stranded wires. This standard applies to composite mandrel winding testing machines (referred to as testing machines) for winding tests on composite mandrels for overhead stranded wires with a diameter not larger than 12 mm.
