- This standard specifies the general principles, content, procedures, methods and technical requirements for environmental risk assessment of tailings ponds. This standard is applicable to the environmental risk assessment of tailings ponds during operation, and is not applicable to the environmental risk assessment of tailings ponds storing radioactive tailings or tailings accompanied by radioactive tailings. The environmental risk assessment of wet storage industrial waste slag warehouses and power plant ash slag warehouses can be carried out with reference to this standard.
