- Scope
- This part of YY/T 1040 specifies the requirements for the size and measurement of cones and cones used to connect anesthesia and respiratory equipment (such as respiratory systems, anesthetic gas purification systems and vaporizers). This standard gives the requirements for the following conical connectors:
——8.5 mm size connectors for use in pediatric respiratory systems;
——15 mm and 22 mm size connectors commonly used in respiratory systems;
——22 mm locking connectors (including Performance requirements);
——23 mm specification connector for evaporator, which is not suitable for respiratory system;
——30 mm specification connector for connection between respiratory system and anesthetic gas purification system. This standard does not specify the connections that have been made between medical devices and their auxiliary devices. The suitability requirements for conical joints are not included in this section, but these requirements have been or will be given in the corresponding medical equipment and accessories standards.
