Scope

This standard specifies the individual requirements for service poles for fixed or mobile installation, as shown in Figure 101, required for spacing of conductors, cords or cables and fittings of electrical equipment for electrical installations. This standard specifies the individual requirements for service poles for fixed or mobile installation in conduits, cable trays or cable ladders. It does not apply to current-carrying members in lights or equipment.
