It also provides a detailed description and significance of the variables to be considered, and provides a basis for devising appropriate comparative test methods. This standard applies to detergents sold as household hand wash dish detergents. Types of dishwashing include hand washing all household utensils used for food storage, preparation, cooking, eating, and drinking. This standard does not apply to cleaning products designed for mechanical dishwashing.?
