Scope

This standard refers to sulfates of ethoxy alcohols or alkylphenols [alkyl oxyethylene sulfate (ethoxy alcohol sulfate) or alkylphenol oxyethylene sulfate (ethoxy alkylphenol sulfate)] containing on average 20 or fewer oxyethylene groups per molecule. It specifies a method for measuring the content of non-sulfated substances present in generally commercially available neutralized products.?
