This standard adopts and applies the international standard issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) as the Korean Industrial Standard (KS). When establishing and revising the Korean Industrial Standard, the national standard is applied mutatis mutandis (WTO/TBT agreement). Accordingly, the international standard IEC 60966-2-2 was translated, and after reviewing the technical content, it was introduced as a Korean industrial standard according to the standard format (KS A 0001:2008).
