This standard specifies the test methods and requirements necessary to design electrical equipment used in small ships so that they can operate in an explosive atmosphere without igniting flammable gases around them. This standard does not require explosion-proof or explosion-protected electrical devices as specified in KS C IEC 60079-0[1]. This standard does not require products or components to be operated in a hydrogen and air mixture. Does not include ignition prevention procedures for It also does not include devices that ignite due to external factors such as static electricity, lighting devices or other components not related to the device under test.?
