Scope

This standard covers the ultrasonic flaw detection test method by an ultrasonic flaw detector of the basic indication using the pulse reflection method for carbon steel and low alloy steel forgings (hereinafter referred to as steel forgings) with a thickness of 20 mm or more and a radius of curvature of the outer diameter part of 50 mm or more. And the classification method of vertical inspection test results is specified in Annex A.?
