Scope

This standard applies to lithium-ion exchangeable batteries used in electric vehicles with a charging range not exceeding 1 000 V 400 A direct current. This standard does not apply to special-purpose vehicles such as aircraft and ships, and vehicles used for charging from safety low voltage (SELV) power sources such as 50 V DC or less.?
