Scope

This standard specifies performance criteria and test procedures for checking compliance with these performance criteria on portable devices for measuring particulate emissions at small firing installations according to the German Ordinance on Small and Medium Firing Installations (1. BImSchV) or the Order on Sweeping and Checking (KUO). The more stringent limit values for particulate emissions laid down by the 1. BImSchV to reduce the exposure of particulate matter especially in urban areas are already taken into account.
