- This standard specifies the method for manually collecting volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in waste gas from fixed pollution sources with a temperature below 150°C using fluoropolymer film bags such as polyvinyl fluoride (PVF). This standard is applicable to the sampling of non-methane total hydrocarbons and some VOCs in waste gas from stationary pollution sources. VOCs applicable to this method include compounds that have been experimentally verified to be stably preserved in air bags of the type of material used. See Appendix A for the performance indicators of three types of fluoropolymer film material airbags for storing 61 VOCs.
